Your role at Baxter

The Senior Procurement Analyst will be responsible for spearheading work within the global Supplier Notice of Change (SNC) process within Baxter Procurement and collaborating with all partners. You will manage your workflow, participate/lead in continuous improvements efforts and projects, and create and/or analyze operations metrics and reports. This position will have the opportunity to contribute to the overall success of the procurement organization. The ideal candidate will have strong logic skills, a keen ability to think critically and optimally balance multiple tasks.

What you'll be doing

Mine, cleanse, analyze and interpret large sophisticated data sets from multiple systems to provide relevant information to the business and key partnersTranslate needs of key partners to help develop standard reports on data metrics and KPIsDesign rich data visualizations to communicate sophisticated information simply - - to a broad, diverse audience at all levels of the organizationCollaborate cross-functionally with subject matter authorities in other departments (e.g., procurement, IT, supplier quality, new product development, R&D, planning and fulfillment, etc.)Work collaboratively, across Baxter, to ensure each SNC includes the current, accurate, and complete scope of impact to organizationIdentify owners responsible for products impacted by supplier changes to ensure cross functional awareness, clear project management ownership/leadership, and communication.Assess new supplier change requests to develop a project charter, including the project scope, impacted facilities, and products. Support SNC process from receipt of change from supplier until approved/closed. Work with global team members from Procurement, Supplier Quality, Engineering, and the Sustaining Product Organization. This includes support for all regions and global business unitsAdvocate the Risk-based Approach to resolving SNC projectsResolve and raise issues and questionsIdentify and implement process improvements and work optimizations for the SNC ProgramAssist in implementation of process ownership framework and deployment; provide governance of existing open SNC projects to ensure timely closure

What you'll bring

Bachelor’s degree3+ years of relevant experienceMinimum 2 years experience in project managementExperience in Tableau and analyzing large datasets from multiple disparate sources is a plusExperience producing analytic reports for high-level audiences is desiredPrior experience in process development and implementation requiredExpertise in problem solving and continuous improvement methodologiesKnowledge and experience in healthcare industry (Pharma or medical device) and processes preferredExperience leading multiple projects simultaneously and ability to navigate uncertainty and ambiguityStrong presentation and facilitation skillsAttention to detail while moving projects forward with sense of urgency and speedProficient in MS Word, Excel, with Visio, Tableau, SharePoint preferredProven data drive, analytical, and fact-based approach to problem solvingAble to read, write and speak English proficiently

Ability to communicate in English fluently and clearly is a MUST.
