Sr. Analyst - Pharma
Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting marketplace trends and customer data as input to marketing and product development strategies/plans for individual consumers, business customers, and/or retail channels including: -Monitoring market conditions, trends, competitors, etc. to project business sector/consumer demand and inform product launch timing -Researching competitor behavior including marketing strategies, pricing, sales and methods of operation -Monitoring media coverage and polling/interviewing customers and/or retailers to determine perceptions of brands/products -Identifying purchasing behaviors, price/discount sensitivity, brand loyalty, etc. across customer segments and sales channels -Simulating the impact of proposed marketing campaigns and measuring results against targetsExciting opportunity to join a growing pharmaceutical division!The Sr. Analyst role will analyze performance and generate key insights for the Pharma portfolio.  A key area of focus will be analyzing TRYPTYR to support a successful launch. In this highly visible position, you'll gain valuable exposure to the Market Access and Commercial team members through effective communication of business insights.This role is part of Alcon's Market Access function; a team focused on securing patient access to our pharmaceutical medicines. The Sr. Analyst will report into the Director of Pricing Strategy and work closely with the Marketing, Commercial Analytics, and Finance business partners.

Primary Responsibilities:

In a fast-paced environment, you will analyze data, build financial models, and communicate findings to business partners.

Analyze launch of TRYPTYR utilizing volume, copay, and financial data sets to extract insights and trends

Perform U.S. payer analysis and modeling to support Pharma portfolio pricing & contracting strategy

Create adhoc analysis, reports, and presentations as needed

Apply curiosity, attention to detail, analytical skills, demonstrating self-direction and effective communication skills

What you can bring to Alcon:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.)The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in EnglishStrong Microsoft office skills (Excel + PowerPoint)2 Years of Relevant Experience, financial analysis or business analysis experience preferredPharmaceutical or Healthcare sector experience preferred
