About the Team

The Revenue Recognition Accounting Team serves as a business partner that supports the go-to-market effort by deriving appropriate revenue accounting conclusions. We're a dynamic group of accounting professionals who continue to strive for professional excellence and career growth while maintaining a phenomenal team culture.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Senior Analyst, Revenue Accounting, to join our Revenue team. This role will be pivotal in driving our revenue growth strategies, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and a pivotal contributor to projects geared towards automation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to team with various groups.

  

     Key Job Responsibilities
 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Sales, and Deals Management.Provide ASC 606 advice to large and complex contracts as well as IT and automation-focused teams.Enable effective decision making working through large data sets and simplifying into actionable analyses and recommendations.Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, quantify revenue impact, and provide actionable insights to optimize business performance.Prepare annual SSP studies and execute related SOX controlsSupport the deal review process ensuring customer contracts are accounted for in accordance with ASC 606.

About You

Basic Qualifications

Solid Understanding of ASC 606 Revenue standard.5+ years related experience, with a focus on revenue or IT supporting revenue function is preferred.Excellent people and organizational skills, and the ability to communicate complex findings in a structured and clear manner to a non-technical audienceStrong analytical skills, capable of analyzing large datasets to derive insights and make recommendations based on trends and patterns.Ability to clearly communicate complex ideas to stakeholders at all levels, including non-technical teams. This includes both written and verbal communication skills.Be adept at identifying problems, proposing solutions, and implementing changes that lead to meaningful business outcomes.Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines while maintaining accuracy. The candidate should be able to work independently as well as part of a team, managing timelines and expectations effectively.Experience of using CRM and Revenue Management systemsExperience with SaaS/Technology industry preferredCPA license, or equivalent, preferred
