Sr. Analyst, Online Merchandising
**Position Purpose:** The primary purpose of this role is to analyze assortment performance and drive improvements at scale across a subset of Home Depot's online offering. This role delivers data-informed strategies to optimize product availability, pricing, conversion, and promotional effectiveness. They work closely with Direct Fulfillment Merchants (DFM) and internal and external partners to align with business goals and to support the discovery, planning, and execution of new online merchandising initiatives. Key duties involve analyzing supplier catalogs to identify high-potential items, recommending assortment improvements, and enhancing product visibility and performance. This role is responsible for developing and evaluating pricing strategies using CPI and margin analysis to drive conversion and profitability. The Sr. Analyst, Online Merch monitor metrics like sales, traffic, conversion and fulfillment to identify opportunities to streamline and deliver goals. This role also prepares reports and presentations to ensure transparency and inform decisions. This position is accountable for assortment health, pricing impact, and promotional performance, and supports strategic projects by partnering with technology teams to ensure tools, rules, and data processes enable supplier success. **Key Responsibilities:** + 30% Work with Merchandise Planning Managers, Online Merchants, and cross functional partners to analyze business drivers and recommend/execute strategies + 40% Execute key daily/weekly/monthly business performance reporting + 30% Contribute to projects and new initiatives which further strategic business objectives **Direct Manager/Direct Reports:** + This position reports to Sr Manager, Online Merchandising + This position has no Direct Reports **Travel Requirements:** + Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time. **Physical Requirements:** + Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. **Working Conditions:** + Located in a comfortable indoor area.
