Sr. Analyst, Customer Marketing – Emerging Markets
Job Description

As the Sr. Analyst, Brand Activations & Partnerships – Distribution, you will bring our iconic brands to life through our strategic distribution channel, which is a priority for the Away From Home (AFH) Business Unit. This role is crucial in developing & executing strategic channel priorities, co-create and implement strategic customer marketing activations to support core brands & innovation launches, deliver go-to-market plans while building and strengthening internal and external partnerships to drive growth. The role offers the opportunity to amplify our brand portfolio on a national scale, creating high impact consumer experiences. Partnering with major accounts such as Restaurant Depot, you’ll be leading high-impact initiatives with visibility to senior leadership. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop B2B marketing skills, manage customer marketing initiatives, and implement growth strategies that strengthen our market presence.

This role provides direct interaction, engagement & partnership with cross-functional team including AFH Leadership, Consumer Insights, Sales, Brand Marketing, Operations, Research & Development, and Finance, resulting in strengthened marketing fundamentals while ensuring cohesive approach to driving business growth as a team. This role will also give you the opportunity to engage directly with customers and industry partners to develop/strengthen relationships effectively to align and promote marketing strategies that drive growth & market expansion.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

· Lead Marketing Strategy and Execution in defined Distribution Channels and support Distribution team initiatives.

· Develop and implement channel strategies and impactful customer marketing activations to elevate brand reach, while driving profitable sales.

· Support joint business planning driving marketing strategies with priority customers.

· High-level of curiosity to understand business, consumer insights, trends, and marketing capabilities.

· Takes ownership to identify specific channel and consumers trends, needs, and business opportunities and turn insights into actions in clear and impactful steps to influence key stakeholders to drive sales.

· Develops and maintains relationships with customer and industry counterparts.

· Drives teamwork, development, and flawless execution of initiatives internally in strong partnership with cross functional teams & leaders.

· Drives and executes customer specific assortment strategies, targeted branded campaigns, monitors/analyzes quarterly promotions

· Initiates and leads commercialization initiatives with strong project and time management skills.

· Owns reporting on channel initiatives through regular rituals and routines and ad-hoc reports as needed.

· Executes and engages within customer and industry trade events

Expected Experience & Required Skills

· Experience in multi-channel customer marketing, product management, brand management; Foodservice experience a plus but not required.

· Experience in strategic and tactical marketing plan development, leading the P&L and budget to deliver on critical initiatives.

· Ability to effectively drive multiple projects with strong collaborative mindset/approach & time management skills

· Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with experience working with external partners, customers, and vendors.

· Self-starter mentality with a positive attitude and acting like an owner mindset to make a difference each day.

· Diligent with strong organizational and project management skills.

· Demonstrated ability to adapt to changes in business, customer, and consumer needs.

· Proactive problem solver, with the ability to assess an issue and develop clear action steps for resolution.

· Strong analytical skills to perform detailed analysis on large data sets, derive insights, and interpret findings to cross-functional leadership with clear action plans.

· Ability to persuade and influential skills to build strong relationships both internally and externally.

· Understands P&L management

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite tools

· Must be willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time for business, including meetings, site visits, and collaboration sessions with customers.

New Hire Base Salary Range:

$88,000.00 – $110,000.00

Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
