Amazon's Joining Amazon Contingency Services (JACS) team creates a safe and trustworthy workplace for all Amazonians through comprehensive pre and in-employment risk assessments. As an HR Assistant III, you will play a vital role in reviewing screening results and determining hiring eligibility based on established guidelines and risk analysis. This position requires careful attention to detail and strong judgment as you evaluate potential risks to Amazon.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational skills and business acumen, successfully managing high volumes of cases while maintaining quality and compliance standards. You will work with internal and external contacts, navigate multiple electronic platforms, and handle confidential information with the utmost discretion. Your strong communication skills will be essential as you follow up with candidates and share findings with stakeholders. We seek someone who embodies Amazon's customer-centric approach, has strong analytical capabilities, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.

- Review and determine candidate eligibility through risk assessment
- Process cases within established service level agreements (SLAs)
- Follow up on pending documentation and resolve discrepancies
- Use multiple vendor and internal platforms to verify information accuracy
- Maintain strict confidentiality standards with sensitive information
- Communicate results and findings to appropriate stakeholders
- Support program compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Identify and escalate complex cases appropriately
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of:
- Managing high-volume workload while maintaining quality standards
- Following established procedures with strong attention to detail
- Working effectively in team environments
- Adapting to process changes and new requirements
- Making sound decisions based on available information
- Maintaining customer focus in fast-paced environments
Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of human resources experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field (Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Engineering or alike) or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in confidential environments
- Microsoft Office products and applications experience
- Basic data analysis skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of human resources experience
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
