**Who we are looking for:**
We are looking for Senior Microsoft Power Platform Administrator. As a dedicated administrator for Microsoft Power Platform at our organization, you will perform the end-to-end administration of Power Platform environments including users, licensing, security, and governance. You’ll partner with business users, IT teams including the Active Directory team, and compliance stakeholders to ensure our Power Platform adoption is secure, scalable, and aligned with internal policies and regulatory requirements. This role emphasizes platform administration, operations and governance rather than custom code development.
**What you will do:**
**Lead full lifecycle environment administration**
+ Provision, configure, and archive production, sandbox, and developer environments
+ Deploy environment policies, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) settings, and environment-level security roles
+ Monitor environment capacity, storage utilization, and perform backups/restores
+ Establish best practices for bot lifecycle management, versioning, and deployment.
+ Define governance models for Copilot Studio environments
+ Manage the full lifecycle of Copilot Agents, environment promotion, and rollback strategies
**Enforce platform governance and compliance**
+ Assist with the development and maintenance of governance framework, standards, and naming conventions
+ Align controls with Canadian regulations (PIPEDA, PHIPA, CASL) and data residency requirements
**Oversee license and capacity allocation**
+ Track usage of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents licenses
+ Optimize license assignments against business needs and budget forecasts
**Monitor health, performance, and support**
+ Use the Power Platform admin center to track service limits, storage capacity and usage analytics
+ Troubleshoot incidents, coordinate with Microsoft Support, and drive timely resolutions
+ Document issues, resolutions, and best practices in runbooks
+ Enable citizen developers and stakeholders
+ Create clear documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials
+ Work with IT teams (Infrastructure, Security, DevOps) to align on identity, networking, and compliance
+ Host workshops and office-hour sessions to promote best practices and self-service
**What you bring:**
+ 3+ years administering Microsoft Power Platform environments in a mid-to-large enterprise
+ Deep understanding of Power Platform admin center, environment management, DLP policies, and environment-level security
+ Proven experience working within governance frameworks and enforcing platform controls
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to diagnose complex administration issues
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to translate technical concepts for business audiences
**Preferred Certifications and Skills**
+ Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate
+ Knowledge of Dataverse capacity management and premium connectors
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
**Nice to Have**
+ Familiarity with Azure Active Directory roles and group management
+ Experience with Power Platform ALM (Solutions, Solution Packs, and Build Tools) and Center of Excellence Toolkit
+ Basic knowledge of DevOps pipelines, source control, and CI/CD processes for low-code solutions
+ Prior work in the telecommunication industry
