Amazon is looking for acandidate to join the fast paced world of European Financial Operations in Bratislava. We’re not an average retailer and this is definitely not your average finance position. Our Financial Operations team is now looking for an experienced, proactive, customer and detail oriented Finance Analyst whose main responsibility will be to manage and resolve receivables and payment related queries received from the Vendors of Amazon EU.
The Financial Analysts’ responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Analyze receivable discrepancy (Commercial agreements, Vendor returns etc.) and fix issues in cooperation with the vendors of Amazon EU in order to issue on-time payments;
- Reconcile vendor statements received from Amazon EU vendors with the open amounts in our ledger;
- Respond to AR related inquiries by phone or email with strong focus on Vendor experience and education;
- Communicate with various internal departments such as Retail teams in EU and finance processing teams in order to ensure timely and accurate payments;
- Work with key accounts on various finance related issues and coordinate the long terms fixed
- Job will require Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot tables, Vlookups)
- Job will require as well someone who likes to talk to external customers via phone and does not hesitate to organize meetings with vendor.
Base pay for this position starts from 2,400 EUR gross per month and salary depends on the skills and requirements. Company benefits apply subject to further terms, including annual membership in medical clinic, life insurance, retirement pension, meal voucher card.
Basic Qualifications
- Fluent English
- 5+ years of collections experience
- Very good communication and analytical skills
- Positive attitude towards issue resolution
- Good MS Office skills (pivots, vlookups etc.)
- Reconciliation of account (credit vs debit)
- Other EU language combinations are welcome, but not necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Finance background or previous experience with finance is an advantage
- Experience with vendor facing situations
- Experience with reconciling the bank statements, credit statements.
- ORACLE experience welcome but not necessary
