Sr. Accounts Receivable Specialist
Description We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accounts Receivable Specialist to oversee and optimize the accounts receivable processes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role offers the opportunity to manage key financial operations, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to process improvements. The position is based in Princeton, New Jersey, and provides a pathway for growth within a supportive team. Responsibilities: • Oversee the end-to-end accounts receivable cycle, including client invoicing, electronic billing submissions, and payment collection. • Ensure all billing activities align with client contracts and are completed accurately and on time. • Collaborate with project managers and client service teams to address and resolve billing discrepancies. • Monitor outstanding accounts and take proactive measures to maintain a steady cash flow. • Enhance the efficiency and accuracy of e-billing systems and processes. • Prepare and support accounts receivable reports, reconciliations, and month-end close tasks. • Identify and implement opportunities to improve workflows and optimize department operations. Requirements • At least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role. • Proficiency in managing accounts receivable processes, including electronic billing systems. • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external clients. • Proven ability to resolve discrepancies and maintain accuracy in financial records. • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement. • Familiarity with maintaining compliance with client contracts and financial guidelines.
