Description We are looking for a Sr. Accountant/Financial Analyst to join our team in Gardena, California, and contribute to the success of our aerospace manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, while also assisting with accounting tasks. This position offers a dynamic mix of analytical work and accounting responsibilities, providing an excellent opportunity for growth and development. Responsibilities: • Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decisions and drive operational efficiency. • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on financial performance and trends. • Assist with month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business scenarios and forecasts. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data for ad hoc financial projects. • Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement. • Support the Controller with accounting tasks and financial reporting requirements. • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in all financial activities. • Utilize JD Edwards software to manage financial data and reporting processes. Requirements • Previous experience in the manufacturing industry is required. • Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data. • Familiarity with month-end close processes and accounting principles. • Proficiency in financial modeling and reporting tools. • Willingness to learn both the accounting and analytics aspects of the role. • Experience with JD Edwards software is a plus. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
