Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

As a Financial accountant you are responsible for managing the day-to-day administration. Ensuring correct and timely execution of key responsibilities according to the requirements of Finance and Administration team in HQ and external regulation Based on the appropriate accounting rules, you will be responsible for the part of monthly accounting closings, annual accounting closing, and tax return. Providing assistant to ensure effective compliance and risk management of services offered

Key Responsibilities:

First point of contact for all departments mainly for sales team in regards to assigned Accounts Receivable (AR) matters Issuing invoices and AR statements to clients which involves communication with clients Accurate and timely reconciliation of payment data against all sales records in SAP Collection support of AR and reporting of unexpected delayed payments working closely with the local sales and AR team in HQ Organizing monthly meetings with the sales team to report overdue AR Supporting Sales and Business Operation team regarding credit limit and timely management of credit block monitoring incoming payment status Journalizing and posting invoices from group companies and domestic/overseas vendors for fixed assets in SAP Managing and analyzing P&L review via Hyperion Providing support on group financial report, internal & external accounting audit Support the sales team in all AR related projects Communicate and liaise with Finance and Administration team in HQ Month end closing under IFRS and local GAAP for assigned accounts in accordance with accounting principles and reporting so that the organization has a full and accurate statement of its financial position.
 

 

Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Complete familiarity with Microsoft Office or equivalent tools Japanese-Native level/English-business Knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP, and tax Ability to pay close attention to details Strong process understanding of accounting relevant processes Experienced SAP knowledge Time management - planning and organizing University degree or adequate education preferable in accounting or business 3 – 5 years relevant experiences in accounting and AR tasks, preferably in apparel industries Bookkeeping – 2nd grade(nice to have)
