Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to key financial operations, including reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing activities. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounting and expertise in NetSuite to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes. Responsibilities: • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate tracking of financial transactions. • Manage account reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial data. • Prepare and post journal entries in compliance with accounting standards. • Oversee month-end close processes to deliver timely financial reports. • Maintain and update the general ledger to reflect accurate financial records. • Utilize NetSuite to streamline accounting operations and reporting. • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial statements and accounts. • Collaborate with internal teams to support audits and compliance requirements. • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance accounting efficiency. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience with a focus on attention to detail. • Proficiency in NetSuite with hands-on experience in financial operations. • Strong knowledge of general ledger management and journal entries. • Expertise in performing account and bank reconciliations. • Familiarity with month-end close procedures and financial reporting. • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
