Sr. Accountant Position Summary
Supports month end close process and related balance sheet reconciliations for existing and newly- acquired companies. Processes timely and accurate journal entries, reconciliations and other analyses. Works cross-functionally with other groups to produce specific account analyses and required periodic reporting. Manages work with a keen eye for and understanding of how to support and drive process improvements and streamline existing processes/tasks across multiple platforms. 

LOCATION - 100% REMOTE, but must live in CA, WA, OR, AZ, ID or NV

SALARY range -   $90-100K

The salary range for this position is based on market data and is intended to provide a general guideline for the position. Actual compensation may vary depending on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, internal equity, and geographic location.  The final offer will be determined through a comprehensive evaluation during the hiring process.


Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform all tasks part of the accounting cycle including all areas of the balance sheet and income statement, journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and account analysesExecute special projects with minimal supervision and drive results to timely completion Perform all technical aspects of accounting addressing and recommending solutions to streamline existing processes, create and update standard operating procedures, and create new processes as needed, including necessary documentationComplete external data requests as requested, including, but not limited to, senior management, parent company and external auditorsExecute respective internal controls within the accounting cycleSupport efforts to implement and improve ERP transactionsSupport the team in automating reports and other tasks within the accounting functionImplement and support best practicesCollaboratively coaches and mentors other accounting team membersParticipate in testing and implementation of new ERP systemsAbility to cross-train within the team on specified tasks and processes

EducationBachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance required CPA certification is preferred
