Senior Accountant Are you an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in payroll processing and general ledger reconciliation? Our client, a reputable service organization, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles and payroll processes to bring their skills to a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role is an onsite, in office position. Key Responsibilities: + Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. + Perform month-end close tasks, including journal entries, account analyses, and reconciliations. + Prepare and file payroll taxes and use tax reports. + Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and transparency. + Record and manage monthly accruals to meet financial reporting deadlines. + Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, applying broad-based accounting knowledge. + Work with accounting leadership on ad hoc projects as needed. Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required). + At least 3+ years of general ledger experience, including payroll and tax filing. + Skilled in Microsoft Excel, with proficiency in intermediate-level functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP). + Strong knowledge of accounting principles, payroll systems, and tax compliance. + Proven ability to meet deadlines, solve problems independently, and maintain high levels of accuracy and detail. + Excellent communication and organizational skills.
