Description Are you an experienced and detail-oriented accounting professional looking to make an impact in the manufacturing industry? Our client, a trusted name in the manufacturing space, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team and play a key role in driving financial accuracy and business decision-making. Key Responsibilities: + Prepare monthly financial statements and comprehensive business reports for leadership review. + Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy. + Monthly journal entries. + Reconcile bank statements and post daily cash and bank adjustments. + Support job costing analysis and sales forecasting. + Prepare payroll journal entries and manage accrued payroll schedules. + Oversee accounts receivable processes, including cash postings and collections. + Manage intercompany accounting transactions and relationships. + Act as a backup for invoicing, accounts payable, and sales tax preparation. + Serve as the Finance Team Lead and provide support to the Controller when needed. Preferred Skills & Traits: + Familiarity with compliance reporting and sales tax regulations. + Adaptable with strong leadership skills to serve as Finance Team Lead and as a backup for the Controller. + Experience in manufacturing finance processes is a major plus. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in a detail-oriented environment. • Proficiency in month-end close processes and financial statement preparation. • Expertise in general ledger management and journal entries. • Strong skills in account and bank reconciliations. • Familiarity with Epicor ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities. • Experience with job costing and sales forecasting. • Knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and sales tax procedures. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to dynamic priorities.
