Description We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join a well-established company in Little Rock, Arkansas. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with the an experienced accounting team, contributing to various corporate finance operations, including financial reporting and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounting processes and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. The salary range will be $75,000 - $95,000 DOE! Responsibilities: • Reconcile securities and cash accounts to maintain financial accuracy. • Prepare and post journal entries during month-end close, while maintaining the general ledger. • Conduct thorough account reconciliations to ensure financial integrity. • Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory filings, adhering to compliance standards. • Support the annual financial statement audit by providing necessary documentation and analysis. • Contribute to the budgeting process by preparing and analyzing financial data. • Undertake special analytical projects as assigned to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in either public accounting or corporate accounting. • Working knowledge of industry-specific systems and tools is essential. • Certification or progress toward CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation is highly preferred. • Strong proficiency in month-end close processes and general ledger maintenance. • Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail. • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
