Description Senior Accountant – Manufacturing/Fixed Assets Location: Deer Park, TX Our client, a growing manufacturing company in Deer Park, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a motivated, growth-oriented professional who enjoys taking ownership of their work and being part of a collaborative environment. Senior Accountant Responsibilities: + Manage and maintain the fixed asset register, including additions, disposals, depreciation, and equipment transfers. + Prepare and review account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness. + Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and accruals. + Perform variance analysis and provide insights to management. + Support process improvements and automation initiatives within accounting functions. + Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and other departments. Requirements Senior Accountant Requirements: + 2–5+ years of experience as a Staff Accountant or Senior Accountant (manufacturing industry experience a plus). + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required. + Strong knowledge of fixed assets and equipment transfer processes. + Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP). + Experience preparing account reconciliations. + Familiarity with SAP S4 HANA preferred.
