Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. This role is integral to maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing general ledger activities, performing reconciliations, and overseeing month-end close processes. Responsibilities: • Lead and execute month-end close procedures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded. • Prepare and review journal entries to support accurate financial reporting. • Conduct account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly. • Oversee bank reconciliations to ensure alignment with internal records. • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency. • Analyze financial data to support decision-making and compliance efforts. • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements. • Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports. Requirements • Extensive experience in month-end close processes and general ledger management. • Proficiency in preparing and reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations. • Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation procedures. • Familiarity with accounting standards and regulations. • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
