Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Brentwood, Tennessee. This role is ideal for someone with strong expertise in financial operations and accounting processes, who thrives in fast-paced environments and values accuracy. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage the month-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate reporting. • Maintain and update the general ledger to reflect all financial transactions. • Prepare and post journal entries while ensuring compliance with accounting standards. • Perform account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data. • Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly. • Analyze financial statements and reports to support decision-making. • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency. • Assist with audits by preparing relevant documentation and answering inquiries. • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Requirements • Proven experience in accounting roles, particularly with month-end close processes. • Strong knowledge of general ledger maintenance and journal entry preparation. • Expertise in account reconciliation and financial reporting. • Familiarity with bank reconciliation procedures and resolving discrepancies. • Proficiency in accounting software and tools. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
