Description Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant will play a critical role in supporting the accounting department by entering and analyzing financial data and preparing key reports. This is a temporary position expected to last approximately nine weeks. Primary Responsibilities: + Prepare and post journal entries, including payroll and revenue transactions. + Reconcile various general ledger accounts to ensure financial accuracy. + Analyze and prepare monthly financial statements for internal use. + Develop and complete supplemental schedules to be included in month-end reporting packages. Requirements Required Qualifications: + Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. + At least 5+ years of professional accounting experience. + Demonstrated expertise in accounting principles and best practices. + Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines effectively. Preferred Qualifications: + Experience working in a diverse multi-entity environment, such as long-term care or real estate industries. + Hands-on experience using Microsoft Dynamics GP.
