Description Job Overview: We are seeking a results-driven Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis, with the potential to transition into a full-time role. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing accounting processes, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills. This role requires a proactive professional capable of working in a dynamic environment with an emphasis on cash basis accounting and financial reporting. This role is 100% role. Key Responsibilities: + Cash Receipts & Disbursements: Record and monitor all cash transactions in the accounting system to ensure accuracy and timeliness. + Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Complete monthly reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial data. + Asset Management: Maintain and update the depreciation schedule. + Month-End Close Support: Assist in the month-end close process, including booking journal entries and verifying accuracy. + Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements to ensure alignment with cash balances. + Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements based on cash basis reports. + Accounts Payable & Receivable: Monitor accounts payable and receivable transactions using cash-based accounting principles. + Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in developing budgets and financial forecasts based on cash flow data analysis. + Tax Support: Prepare tax-related requests and collaborate with relevant stakeholders. + Audit Support: Provide detailed financial data to auditors during financial audits. + Discrepancy Resolution: Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records promptly and effectively. + Management Support: Deliver cash flow analysis reports to assist management in decision-making. Requirements Qualifications: + Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. + Technical Skills: + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office tools. + Familiarity with Elite 3E software is a plus but not required. + Experience: Previous experience in cash basis accounting and senior accounting roles is highly desirable. + Competencies: + Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
