Sr. Accountant
Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to assist our local client's frequent need. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, supporting month-end close processes, and contributing to strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong understanding of GAAP and a passion for continuous improvement. Requirements Key Responsibilities Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements Lead month-end and year-end close processes Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making Support budgeting and forecasting activities Mentor junior accounting staff and support cross-functional teams Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred) 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks) and Excel Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
