Sr. Accountant
Description We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Fresno, California. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring accurate financial management and reporting, while contributing to budgeting and operational analysis. This position provides an excellent opportunity for growth within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial statements and reports to senior management. • Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) across multiple facilities to support operational decision-making. • Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly and annual budgets, including identifying variances. • Collaborate with the accounting team to design and implement internal reporting tools and dashboards. • Provide cross-training in core accounting areas, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries. • Perform daily accounting tasks such as data entry, ledger updates, and reconciliations. • Support month-end close processes, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of journal entries and account reconciliations. • Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly. • Maintain compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Requirements • At least 5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, with a solid understanding of financial principles. • Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software, along with advanced Excel skills. • Strong organizational and analytical abilities, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in liaising with all levels of management. • A proactive and adaptable approach to work, thriving in dynamic environments. • Familiarity with NewBos software is a plus; training will be provided if necessary. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. • Demonstrated ability to complete month-end close processes and reconcile accounts effectively.
