Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Miami, Florida. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing and analyzing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. This position is ideal for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong background in financial analysis and reconciliation. Responsibilities: • Prepare and analyze detailed financial statements, including profit and loss reports, to support business decisions. • Conduct high-volume bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial transactions. • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reporting processes efficiently. • Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations. • Utilize advanced Excel functions and formulas to perform ad hoc financial analyses. • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations in all reporting activities. • Leverage NetSuite to streamline accounting processes and maintain accurate records. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights and support for strategic planning. • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance financial operations. • Assist with audit preparations and provide documentation as required. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a strong focus on financial reporting. • Proficiency in month-end close processes, general ledger management, and journal entry preparation. • Skilled in performing account reconciliations, including high-volume bank and credit card transactions. • Advanced expertise in Excel, including VBA programming and complex data analysis. • Hands-on experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems. • Strong understanding of profit and loss statements and financial analysis. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
