Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Redmond, Washington. In this role, you will oversee key accounting functions, including payroll processing, general ledger management, and sales commission calculations. This position requires precision, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
• Process payroll accurately, including calculating employee wages, taxes, benefits, and deductions.
• Prepare and submit semi-monthly payroll reports and year-end W-2 forms while ensuring compliance with federal and local regulations.
• Reconcile payroll tax accounts, post journal entries, and manage accrual calculations.
• Maintain the general ledger by posting journal entries, classifying transactions, and performing account reconciliations.
• Conduct daily and monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews to ensure accurate transaction recording.
• Manage fixed asset schedules, calculate depreciation, and post related journal entries.
• Handle accounts payable duties, including processing invoices, expense reports, and reviewing weekly aging reports.
• Prepare and deliver annual 1099 forms and provide documentation for internal and external audits.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes by resolving discrepancies and ensuring timely reporting.
• Calculate sales commissions using Excel, verify accuracy based on compensation plans, and distribute commission sheets to team members.
The salary range for this position is $76,700 to $98,200.

Requirements • Extensive experience in month-end close processes and general ledger management.
• Proficiency in preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations.
• Strong skills in bank reconciliations and payroll processing.
• Ability to calculate and audit sales commissions with advanced Excel knowledge.
• Familiarity with ADP financial services and other payroll systems.
• Solid understanding of fixed asset schedules, depreciation, and prepaid expense amortization.
• Proven ability to manage accounts payable and deliver annual 1099 forms.
• Experience supporting audits and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
