Description We are looking for a highly motivated Sr. Accountant to join our dynamic team in Concord, California. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing organization. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in financial reporting, analysis, and operational accounting with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities: • Full cycle accounting through financial statement preparation and analysis • Provide financial and reports to the board • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records. • Manage general accounting tasks, including month-end close processes. • Monitor production team reporting, sales targets, and goals to support financial planning. • Oversee vendor credit management for a portfolio of approximately 100 vendors. • Prepare and record journal entries to maintain accurate ledger accounts. • Administer sales tax and quarterly tax filings in compliance with regulations. • Assist with budgeting processes and forecasting. Requirements • Bachelor degree in business, finance or accounting preferred for 5+years of relevant experience in various industries • Proficiency in bank reconciliations and general ledger management. • Strong knowledge of journal entries and month-end close procedures. • Proven experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). • Familiarity with sales tax regulations and financial statement preparation. • Experience in auditing financials and maintaining accurate margins.
