Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team just SW of College Station, Texas. In this role, you will oversee key accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. Your expertise will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our financial records and supporting overall business operations. Responsibilities: • Manage the reconciliation of accounts, including balance sheets and bank statements, to ensure financial accuracy. • Oversee the preparation and entry of journal entries, maintaining compliance with accounting standards. • Conduct month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. • Review and maintain the general ledger to ensure all transactions are properly recorded. • Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to manage financial data efficiently. • Analyze financial records and resolve discrepancies to maintain data integrity. • Collaborate with internal teams to support audits and other financial reviews. • Generate detailed financial reports and provide insights to support decision-making. • Develop and implement best practices for accounting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field. • Strong expertise in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations. • Proficiency in using general ledger systems and preparing journal entries. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis tools. • Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP. • In-depth understanding of month-end close processes and financial reporting. • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. • Strong organizational and communication abilities.
