Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in West Hollywood, California. This is a contract position ideal for someone with a strong background in financial operations and accounting processes. The role will focus on ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining compliance with established practices. Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. • Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded properly. • Prepare and post journal entries to reflect financial activity. • Conduct account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial records. • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between bank statements and internal records. • Assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial accounts. • Support audits and compliance reviews by providing necessary documentation and insights. • Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience in month-end close procedures and financial reporting. • Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and journal entry preparation. • Proficiency in performing account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies. • Expertise in bank reconciliation processes and maintaining financial accuracy. • Familiarity with accounting software and tools. • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
