Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Los Angeles, California. This role requires a strong background in accounting, excellent technical skills, and the ability to manage multiple clients efficiently. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and demonstrate leadership capabilities. Responsibilities: • Oversee month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all financial reports. • Manage and maintain the general ledger, including posting and reviewing journal entries. • Perform account reconciliations to ensure alignment between internal records and external statements. • Handle bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly. • Process payroll accurately and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations. • Manage sales tax and city tax filings, ensuring adherence to local requirements. • Utilize QuickBooks (desktop and online) and Datafaction/Agilink to streamline accounting operations. • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering growth and development. • Collaborate with clients to address their financial needs and provide tailored accounting solutions. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. • Proven experience working in an accounting firm managing multiple clients. • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks (desktop and online) and Datafaction/Agilink. • Strong knowledge of payroll processing, sales tax, and city tax requirements along with general ledger experience • Demonstrated ability to perform month-end close, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations. • Previous experience supervising staff and managing team workflows. • Willingness to work on-site five days a week in Los Angeles, California. • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
