As a Senior Accountant your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements.
• Perform detailed reconciliations of accounts, including general ledger and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and record journal entries to maintain the integrity of financial data.
• Collaborate with various departments to identify opportunities for automation and improve accounting workflows.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and propose corrective actions.
• Assist in enhancing accounting systems for improved efficiency and data accuracy.
• Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries.
• Generate comprehensive reports to support decision-making and financial planning.
• Stay updated on accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance.

Requirements
The ideal Senior Accountant will have the following:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting roles, including month-end and year-end close processes.
• Strong understanding of general ledger management and account reconciliation.
• Proficiency in preparing and recording journal entries.
• Experience with bank reconciliations and other financial analysis tasks.
• Familiarity with accounting systems such as Oracle or similar platforms.
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements and automation.
• Knowledge of internal controls and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in financial documentation.
