Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Carrollton, Texas. This role involves conducting detailed financial analysis and delivering accurate insights into payroll and cost structures. Candidates with a background in property management and proficiency in QuickBooks are highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
• Perform in-depth payroll analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
• Manage cost reporting and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Perform month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to uphold financial integrity.
• Prepare and post journal entries with precision and attention to detail.
• Conduct account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial transactions.
• Handle bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies effectively.
• Utilize QuickBooks to manage financial data and streamline accounting processes. Requirements • Proven experience in financial analysis and payroll analysis.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and general ledger management.
• Expertise in preparing journal entries and conducting account reconciliations.
• Ability to perform bank reconciliations with accuracy.
• Background in property management accounting is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication abilities to present financial findings effectively.
