Responsibilities: • Oversee month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. • Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. • Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records. • Perform detailed account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations and balance sheet accounts. • Support the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders. • Handle fixed asset accounting, including tracking, depreciation, and reconciliations. • Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure alignment on financial processes and data. • Assist in accrual accounting and ensure proper recording of expenses. • Identify opportunities for process improvements within financial operations and recommend solutions. • Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required. • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Senior Accountant. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and advanced functions. • Experience with fixed assets, accrual accounting, and balance sheet reconciliations. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments. • Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a desire for growth and attention to detail. • Supervisory experience is not required but a willingness to contribute to a growing team is essential.
