Description Our client, a technology-driven organization at the forefront of innovation, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join their Finance team. Key Responsibilities: + Oversee general ledger accounting, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up to date + Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. + Conduct detailed account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies where necessary. + Manage month-end and year-end close procedures, including journal entries and accruals. + Analyze financial data, providing actionable insights and recommendations to management. + Collaborate cross-functionally to support strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting efforts. + Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and other regulatory requirements. + Assist with internal and external audits by preparing appropriate schedules and financial data. + Continuously identify and implement process improvement opportunities to enhance financial reporting accuracy and efficiency. Requirements + Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or supervisory role + Experience within the tech industry or a progressive sector is highly desirable. + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is preferred. + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or QuickBooks) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. + Strong understanding of GAAP, financial analysis, and reporting practices. + Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
