Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial processes, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. This position is based in Boston, Massachusetts, and offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative environment. Responsibilities: • Oversee month-end close procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure all accounts are properly balanced. • Prepare and review journal entries to support accurate financial documentation. • Conduct account reconciliations to verify the integrity of financial data. • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between internal records and bank statements. • Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and improve accounting processes. • Utilize Workday software to streamline accounting operations and reporting. • Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies. • Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports. Requirements • Proven experience in month-end close processes and financial reporting. • Strong knowledge of general ledger maintenance and reconciliation. • Proficiency in preparing and analyzing journal entries. • Expertise in account reconciliation and bank reconciliation tasks. • Hands-on experience with Workday software. • Solid understanding of accounting principles and standards. • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
