Description We are partnering with a well-established and growing company to find a Senior Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and enjoys working closely with operations and leadership. About the Role: In this position, you’ll play a key role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, job costing, and project accounting. You’ll be working directly with internal stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and support strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: + Prepare and review monthly financial statements and supporting schedules + Analyze job cost reports and support WIP (Work-in-Progress) schedules + Support budgeting and forecasting activities + Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies + Assist with external audits and year-end close + Provide financial insights to project managers and operations teams + Monitor and improve internal controls and accounting processes Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field + 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in manufacturing or construction + Strong understanding of job costing, WIP schedules, and percentage-of-completion accounting (ASC 606 is a plus) + Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Sage, Viewpoint, QuickBooks Enterprise, or similar) + CPA or CPA track is a plus, but not required + Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
