Description We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Campbell, California. This role is ideal for someone who excels in financial reconciliation and reporting. You will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records while contributing to month-end close processes. Responsibilities: • Perform detailed account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards. • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly. • Handle bank reconciliations to maintain consistency across financial records. • Manage general ledger activities, including posting journal entries and reviewing transactions. • Assist in preparing and completing month-end close processes efficiently and accurately. • Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions to analyze financial data and create reports. • Work with various ERP systems, such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP, to maintain and update financial records. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support audits and improve financial reporting processes. • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements. • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related financial roles. • Strong expertise in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations. • Proficiency in using ERP systems, including NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting. • Solid understanding of general ledger management and journal entry processes. • Experience with month-end close procedures and ensuring timely completion. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to resolve discrepancies effectively. • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
