Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. This is a Contract position that requires a detail-oriented individual with strong expertise in financial reconciliation and ledger management. Responsibilities: • Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. • Handle balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. • Conduct bank reconciliations, verifying transactions and maintaining proper documentation. • Manage general ledger activities, including preparing and reviewing journal entries. • Utilize Excel and Dynamics 365 Business Central to analyze and report financial data. • Ensure payroll processing aligns with accounting requirements using HRIS Payroll Systems. • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial statements are complete. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support audits and improve financial procedures. • Identify and implement improvements in accounting workflows and systems. • Maintain strict confidentiality of financial information and adhere to regulatory compliance. Requirements • Proven experience in account reconciliation and balance sheet management. • Proficiency in bank reconciliations and general ledger accounting. • Strong knowledge of journal entries and financial reporting. • Expertise in Excel and Dynamics 365 Business Central. • Familiarity with HRIS Payroll Systems and their integration with accounting processes. • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
