About the Job As a Senior Account Executive, you’ll drive new business growth and exceed sales targets within a defined territory in the education sector. You’ll build meaningful relationships with potential clients, deliver value in every interaction, and guide opportunities from discovery to close. This role is ideal for someone who is hard-working, curious, collaborative, and passionate about making a difference in education.
What you will do • Cultivate and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with prospective clients. • Consistently meet or exceed sales goals through self-sourced leads and collaboration with Sales Development. • Communicate effectively and negotiate with confidence to deliver customer-centric solutions. • Navigate the software sales cycle with insight, empathy, and critical thinking. • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach and networking. • Align account strategies with company objectives and track progress toward key achievements. • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure client success. • Lead the procurement process with urgency and precision to accelerate deal closure. • Stay current on industry trends and continuously develop your skills through learning opportunities.
What you need • 3+ years of proven experience in sales, account management, or a related field. • A growth mindset and a passion for continuous improvement. • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual collaboration platforms.
What makes you a Standout • Bachelor’s degree preferred. • Deep understanding of the State, Local, and Education (SLED) market and its unique dynamics. • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and their impact on operational efficiency. • Proven success in outbound prospecting and building a high-performing sales pipeline. • Coachable, adaptable, and eager to learn from feedback and new experiences.

The pay range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 annually with a commission target of 80% - 100%. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
