Job Description

The International Transportation and Inbound Operations Analyst is responsible for serving as the liaison with dedicated provider(s), working to expand the fleet presence and ensure world class service and cost-effective processes.  Additionally, the analyst will oversee inbound shipments, suggest cost effective means of transport and develop key performance indicators to support our site operations. Should the below responsibilities adjust or business dynamics require additional support, those will be discussed and transitioned through collaboration and timeline planning. 

Immediate and Core Responsibilities:

Fleet Liaison:

Serve as the subject matter expert for fleet operations as well as the primary liaison with dedicated provider(s)

Develop and optimize lane development strategies with provider(s)

Develop and report on KPI relating to on-time service / cost

Effectively plan capital allocation on Avery Dennison owned equipment

Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies

Maintain strong relationships with drivers and address site-specific needs

Inbound Operations:

Oversee inbound transportation activities, including vendor selection and performance

Develop KPIs for Inbound providers

Optimize inbound processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs

Manage invoice approvals and allocations for inbound shipments

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in international transportation or logistics

Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proven ability to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities

Additional Information

The salary range for this position is $77,000  - $127,100/ year. The hiring base salary range above represents what Avery Dennison reasonably expects to pay for this position as of the date of this posting. Actual salaries will vary within the range, and in some circumstances may be above or below the range, based on various factors including but not limited to a candidate’s relevant skills, experience, education and training, and location, as well as the job scope and complexity, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel required for the position, which may change depending on the candidate pool.
