THE WORK
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
Provide test engineering support to production program integrated product team (IPT’s). Define test process plans identifying the sequence of required test steps. Define required tools, instruments, fixtures, software, hardware, interfaces and test chambers required to execute the test process plan. Develop tests and generate detailed test procedures including narrative, diagrams and photographs. Generate detailed troubleshooting guides to aid in the troubleshooting and analysis of the root cause of test failures. Use available test information and data from past test programs to develop Test Engineering cost estimates on proposals. Analyze test defect data and trends helping to define and implement corrective actions. Support the change management activities of the
production program IPT. Provide day-to-day test engineering support to the work cell by resolving technician questions, investigating and solving test and/or product performance problems, and improving test procedures, tooling, fixturing, hardware,
software, etc. in an effort to optimize the test process.

You possess manufacturing knowledge, are adept at using hand tools, can proficiently read technical drawings to ensure an accurate and efficient assembly processes.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience reviewing Power, RF, Digital and Analog test documents, including schematics, part lists, drawings and test requirements, to determine a method of test for a given assembly the develop the procedure.
Ability to design and troubleshoot test fixtures and interfaces for product test.
Experience performing test either with bench top platforms or automated testers, In-Circuit Test (ICT) experience is a plus.
Desired Skills:
Ability to perform tasks that require lifting (up to 50lbs), bending, and reaching, such as setting up equipment, probing circuit cards, and troubleshooting automated test equipment.
Detailed experience with multiple industry test platforms, Teradyne, National Instruments, Autotest, Finetest etc.
Ability to navigate a factory environment, including climbing stairs and walking long distances.
5+ years experience with design and test of CCAs in multiple technologies (ie digital, Analog, RF, Power)
Three to five years of test and troubleshoot hands-on experience

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
