JOB TITLE:         Sr. Technology Analyst

LOCATION:         Dallas, TX and hybrid role, may work from home

DUTIES:  Research, design, plan, implement and test technologies and processes to compile, package, and deploy software applications. Conduct needs analysis to create quality solutions. Participate in design and implementation of QA test strategies for testing software releases. Ensure solutions are aligned with stated requirements and comply with departmental standards. Participate in ensuring that assigned projects adhere to agreed-upon functional specification and applicable QA standards. Manage and execute complex test scenarios. Create testing artifacts including but not limited to test cases, test scripts, test conditions, and expected test results. Apply knowledge and skills of analysis, business processes, tools, domains, project methodologies, requirements definitions, and testing to solve a range of problems. Apply business solutions with broad level knowledge about technology platforms/architectures. Verify information and carefully review and check the accuracy of own work using dependency identification processes in technology work. Document, track, and verify defects and fixes in assigned products. Research and test issues in production and development environments. Perform root cause analysis and help create preventative measures; and enable automation of testing activities as needed. Work with QA Automation Engineers to identify areas of applications that benefit from automated testing and help prioritize the backlog of scripted tests. Support existing build and deploy technologies and processes. Perform root cause analysis for build and deploy failures. Collaborate with team members and other functional stakeholders on strategic initiatives, providing thought leadership and advocating for best practices. Maintain and support the complex technical infrastructures and system software components. Provide expert technical direction to team members and interface with Business Stakeholders on all complex projects; and participate in architectural, technical design, and product design reviews as needed. Participate in release planning activities within Agile/SAFe framework. Provide estimates of assigned stories.

REQUIREMENTS:  Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Software Development Engineer in Test, Automation Engineer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 5 years of experience working on virtual test environments and configurations including Cloud-based testing, and programming using Java. 5 years of experience testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Junit, TestNG and Postman. 4 years of experience working on test strategy development, test planning and estimation, test case design, defect management, test automation and testing frameworks. 3 years of experience automating testing using DevOps practices, and using build and deploy tools such as Gradle and Jenkins. 2 years of experience utilizing container technologies such as Docker, Logging/Visualization frameworks such as Log4J, and Grafana. 1 year managing projects using tracking tools such as Jira and Rally. Hybrid role, ability to work from home.
