General Purpose of the Job
The Salesforce Technical Data Lead is responsible for overseeing integration, management and optimization of data within the Salesforce platform. This role requires strong technical background in Salesforce, data management and integrations with a focus on delivering high-quality, secure and scalable solutions. The Salesforce Technical Data Lead will serve as the technical subject matter expert for data solutions, working with key stakeholders/business partners and cross-functional teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead technical requirements gathering sessions and help translate business requirements into Salesforce and middleware technical specificationsMonitor existing integration feeds for issues impacting Salesforce (regardless of source) and work with broader CoE team to resolve where appropriateIdentify opportunities for improvements (stability, scale, speed) and implement projects to recognize these gainsPartner with Application Integration team on prioritization of new work and enhancements/maintenance to existing integrationsPrepare High Level Design Document for the business requirements and host the design review sessionsAnalyze the existing application and continuously work towards enhancing the overall application and performancePartner with project stakeholders and provide them required supportClosely work with Development team for resolving their queries and questionsImplement and follow best Sales Force and Industry practices in design, coding and implementationContribute in all the phases of the execution including planning, design, development, QA, UAT and Production SupportMaintain integration diagrams for each Salesforce Org to all connected applications/environments. This is inclusive of data cloud implementation & use across all Salesforce Orgs and support AI capabilities across the Salesforce platformPrepare and maintain application health dashboard and monitoring for proactive issues identificationDevelop key features and provide required production issues support and resolutionHost and run war room sessions from technical side with team for priority delivery items and production incidentsProvide required support and expertise in the areas of Sales Force Environment setups and deploymentsEnsure that application is scalable and support performance and load testing effortsEducation and Experience
Associate's Degree or Apprenticeship (required)10+ years' experience in Salesforce data solutionsSpecialized Experience, Education, Training, or Qualifications
Expertise in modern integration protocols including REST, SOAP, FHIR, KafkaExpertise in additional integration platforms a plus (i.e. Mulesoft, Boomi, Workato)Expertise in working with integration toolsets – Informatica FUSE/B2B, APIGEE, SnapLogic, DenodoProficient in APEX, Visualforce and SOQL, knowledge of Salesforce lightning framework a plusStrong communication and Collaboration skillsAbility to lead technical teams and provide guidance and support to other developers both within and outside the Salesforce ecosystem.Strong working knowledge of Sales Force and other databases and expertise in SQLExpertise in debugging through logsCertifications
