As a Sr Systems Security Engineer, you will be using your skills and expertise to ensure continual compliance to NIST 800-53 controls, perform continuous monitoring, implement the Risk Management Framework for a key system within SNC.
Typical tasks include but are not limited to:
- Continuous Monitoring
- Oversee the implementation of security controls
- Provide advice on NIST 800-53 Controls
- Respond to system security incidents
- Interface with Internal Customers
- Support Data Transfer requests
- Guide Risk Analysis on system changes and enhancements
- Research, evaluate, and recommend new security tools, techniques, and technologies in alignment with our IT security strategy

Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelor's degree in Systems Security, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or related Engineering discipline and typically 10 years of relevant experienceRelevant experience may be considered in lieu of required educationExperience and a solid understanding of the NIST 800-53 ControlsExperience with Risk Management FrameworkExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAgile - ability to adapt with changing requirementsExperience manage team projectsAn active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $143,487.14 - $197,294.82. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
