Sr Systems Engineer

A Typical Day The Sr Systems Engineer is responsible for all onsite service and support needs for our customers, IT and IT business units. This relates to all technology, to include: virtual workstations, servers, patch management, and vendor specific hardware and software. Responsibilities: + Design, deploy, and maintain Omnissa Horizon environments, including Cloud Pod Architecture (CPA) for distributed VDI across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. + Implement and support Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM for unified endpoint management and secure remote access to applications and virtual desktops. + Provide Mac-centric support, including administration and management of Omnissa Horizon MDM for endpoint security and device lifecycle management. + Assist with the migration of the virtualized EUC environment from VMware Cloud (VMC) on AWS to Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) on AWS. + Configure and manage App Volumes for real-time application delivery and lifecycle management. + Develop, manage, and optimize Windows 10/11 images and automated deployment processes using best practices. + Implement disaster recovery and high availability strategies for EUC services using Nutanix on AWS infrastructure. + Work closely with network and security teams to configure Unified Access Gateways (UAG), enforce compliance standards, and ensure secure connectivity. + Automate EUC deployments, configurations, and reporting using PowerShell, REST APIs, and scripting tools. + Provide Tier 3 support for escalated EUC incidents, perform root cause analysis, and develop permanent resolutions. + Document designs, operational procedures, and system configurations while maintaining up-to-date runbooks. + Continuously evaluate emerging EUC technologies and provide recommendations for innovation and improvement. + Administer and support Google Workspace and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments, including user provisioning, policy management, access controls, and service optimization. + Manage and support the OneLogin platform, including SSO configuration, directory synchronization, MFA policies, and user lifecycle management. + Support Okta integration efforts, including group assignments, app provisioning, and automation workflows. What You’ll Bring + 5+ years of experience in enterprise-scale End User Computing or VDI environments. + Proven hands-on experience with: Omnissa Horizon (Cloud Pod Architecture, Instant Clones), Workspace ONE (UEM, Access), App Volumes, Dynamic Environment Manager, and Windows image engineering and deployment automation. + Experience with Mac-centric support, including administration of Omnissa Horizon Mac MDM. + Demonstrated understanding of virtualization and hyperconverged platforms: vSphere, vSAN, NSX, VMware Cloud on AWS (VMC), and Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) on AWS. + Experience administering Google Workspace (G Suite) and Google Cloud IAM roles, policies, and configurations. + Working knowledge of OneLogin administration, including SAML/OIDC integrations, application management, and user provisioning. + Familiarity with Okta administration, including Universal Directory, lifecycle management, and basic API usage.
