The ideal candidate will need a wide-ranging background in system development for data center controls systems, IT infrastructure, networking, facility operations, electrical switchgear and generator automation, project management and strong leadership skills.

Key job responsibilities
The System Development Engineer is responsible for development of the IOT architecture integrating on-premise industrial controls with cloud AWS networking, tools, and services. Strong understanding of AWS services and architecture is leveraged to innovate tooling and features for end users and developers.

A day in the life
Engineer will work with other System Developers, PLC controls developers, electrical engineers, and data center site controls engineers developing AWS IOT solutions.

The Controls System Development team is part of the larger Data Center Engineering organization and Data Center Community within Amazon Web Services. The team is global with builders around the globe.
