With revenues of more than $40 billion and the largest investment in R&D in the industry, we give our people the resources and chances to create significant contributions to the world. **Location/Division Specific Information** This position is in the Cybersecurity Architecture team within Corporate Infrastructure & Security (CIS). **Discover Impactful Work:** As a Sr. Staff Security Architect, you’ll be a part of our global Cybersecurity Architecture team, responsible for overall enterprise security architecture, roadmaps and security solutions architecture. You’ll get to work with all things Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) related – ranging from the way certificate services are configured to the way the encryption keys are used, maintained and monitored. **A day in the Life:** + Lead all aspects of PKI related technologies, processes and operations, with a focus on overall process improvements. + Work with other technical architects and engineers to understand various workflows to ensure private key material is handled properly and that PKI is used appropriately across the enterprise. + Define and identify new use cases where PKI could be used and maintain relevant roadmaps on improving the way PKI and related technologies are being used. + Be the primary technical lead for overall encryption and key management, making sure proper algorithms and approaches are used with an eye on future technical developments with, for example, quantum computing. **Keys to Success:** + Deep understanding of underlaying cryptographic functions, algorithms and implementation details. + Ability to design, develop and implement various workflows using PKI for encryption, authentication, connectivity bootstrapping and digital signatures. + Experience with automating private key delivery and certificate renewals across a wide range of various target systems while maintaining the confidentiality of private keys. + Ability to understand complex workflows and to define requirements and recommendations to improve the security of the technical landscape, especially for workflows related to authentication or encryption. + Strong desire to learn more and to stay up to speed with the latest developments with PKI, while ensuring the company’s environment will proactively meet future industry requirements. **Education** + Master’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or related field. + Certifications not required, but encouraged: CISSP, or other PKI-related certifications a plus. **Experience** + 7+ years of hands-on experience with designing, managing and configuring public key infrastructure and related solutions. + Programming and scripting experience, ideally in an infrastructure as code setting, focusing on certificate delivery automation. + Past experience with various enterprise level PKI solutions and other relevant technologies, including monitoring and evolvement of said solutions. + Experience with managing code-signing related workflows and appropriate delegation modes for the use of special purpose private keys. **Knowledge, Skills, Abilities** + Strong proactive analytical and problem-solving skills in both ambiguous and tactical situations with a bias for action. + Ability to act both independently and as a part of a team. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Dedication to excellence, high-quality standards, and attention to detail. **Benefits** We offer competitive remuneration, annual incentive plan bonus, healthcare, and a range of employee benefits.
