How will you make an impact?
As the Sr. Staff Project Manager, BPG, you will be at the forefront of leading cross-functional projects and programs from concept to completion. Your expertise will ensure the successful delivery of initiatives across the BioProduction group. This role offers an outstanding opportunity to drive high-visibility projects. You will partner with Executive Sponsors to implement key initiatives, handle budgets, and coordinate progress, ensuring outstanding outcomes!
What will you do?
Own end-to-end success of projects/programs/portfolios, ensuring accountability, and execution of timelines to deliver timely resultsEnsure that all project/program/portfolios are delivered within scope and budgetDevelop project/program/portfolio scopes and objectives, involving all relevant cross-functional customers and ensure resource availability and allocationIdentify key issues and risks, recommend options which are supported by a clear fact set and analysis, facilitate and drive individual and team decisions. Requires an understanding of customer motivations, , impacts to the organization, and when to raise issues to higher levels of managementDevelop detailed plans to track progress and maintain action logsLead project execution to ensure the effective deployment of standard project management tooslMeasure performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniquesBuild and maintain comprehensive documentation and prepare reports for executive leadershipChallenge existing processesSuccessfully collaborate with all levels of the organizations in a highly matrixes business
How will you get here?
Bachelors’ Degree in Science/Technical/Business field or equivalent experienceExperience
8+ years of project/program management and team leadership experience with a solid track record in successfully leading projects/programs from start to finishExperience leading large, complex projects/programs with minimal guidance spanning over 12+ monthsExperience managing budgets (CAPEX & OPEX) over $3M Experience managing projects/program return $5M+ of benefit back to the business Ability to collaborate with diverse audiences, including senior leadership, and effectively navigate in a matrix environmentAbility to manage multiple global projects/programs (3+) and interface effectively with team members and across multiple departments, regions, and countriesStrong understanding of formal project management methodologiesProject Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plusRelevant experience with Lean / Six Sigma experience in an industrial environmentKnowledge, Skills, Abilities
Ability to work with and present at all levels of the organization, including Sr. VP/GM’sStrong commercial knowledgeStrong familiarity with project management standards and methodologies including PMI Body of KnowledgeEffective executive presentation skillsStructured working style, capable of balancing multiple projects/programs simultaneouslyGreat teammate who can build strong professional relationshipsConflict resolution and problem-solving skills, using a focused approach to critical thoughtStrong interpersonal and organizational influence skillsStrong attention to detail, time managementProcess Improvement (PPI / Six-Sigma) experience preferredThe salary pay range estimated for this position based inCalifornia is $150,000 - $170,000.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $130,000.00–$160,000.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
