We are currently looking for a Sr Specialist Payroll US & Canada to join our team in Nissan HQ (CDMX) This role is essential to ensuring accurate payroll operations, financial compliance, and cross-functional collaboration across departments.

A Day in the Life:

Resolve employee payroll inquiries and distribute payroll communicationsSupport payroll operations and ensure compliance with U.S. and Canadian regulationsReconcile payroll accounts and prepare journal entries and audit documentationCollaborate with HR, benefits, and finance teams to maintain payroll accuracyParticipate in system integrations, testing, and payroll KPI reporting

Who We’re Looking for:

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Accounting4 to 6 years of payroll experience in a large organization (U.S. and Canada preferred).Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsProficiency in English (TOEIC score above 700 preferred)Advanced Excel skills and experience with payroll/accounting systems

Desired:

Experience with PeopleSoft or SAP payroll systemsBilingual communication skillsKnowledge of U.S. payroll processing, tax, and garnishment; Canadian payroll preferredAbility to reconcile payroll records with general ledger accountsExperience conducting internal audits and preparing documentation for external audits

Reporting Line:

Reports to: Payroll Manager
Supervisory Capacity: Acts as consultant and trainer to payroll department staff
