Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities: 

Work closely with team architect and drive the technical priorities in the team.

Collaborate closely with scrum master/scrum lead to align with the sprint and quarter (PI) goals. Help in guiding team to come up with estimates through detailed technical discussions.

Help team in debugging sessions, represent team in global forums along with architect. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues with the team.

Choose appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools.

Ensure scalability, performance, and security best practices.

Contribute to hands on development to the team backlog as required. Write clean, maintainable code.

Perform code reviews and enforce coding standards.

Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers.

Applies software engineering methods and techniques to the design, development, evaluation, integration, qualification and/or support of complex products within one or more areas of expertise.  

Creates design documents, specifications, and test plans for assigned work. Develops technical documentation.  

Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.

Actively participates in business planning by providing information and recommendations based on analysis of data and trends.  

Ensures that that their team meets its deliverables and timelines.  

Lead by example in adopting development methodologies (e.g., TDD, incremental merges, branching strategy etc.).

Facilitate technical discussions and decision-making by working closely with team architect.

Drive adoption of new tools, frameworks, and practices.

Promote knowledge sharing and documentation.

Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

Minimum Educational Qualifications and Relevant experience:

Bachelor's Degree or Masters Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with a minimum of 6+ years of experience in Designing, Implementing, Leading and managing complex Software projects and has Good knowledge of Agile Methodologies (Scrum), techniques and ceremonies.

Must Have Technical Qualifications:

A full stack software engineer with 6+ years of experience in backend development using Core Java and Springboot, ideally with working knowledge of React.JS on the frontend. The candidate should have a solid understanding of software development best practices, microservices architecture, and RESTful API development. Exposure to modern frontend frameworks like React is a plus, though this is primarily a backend-focused role.

• Understands the technology landscape, up to date on current technology trends and new technology, brings new ideas to the team.
• Displays understanding of the project's value proposition for the customer. Shows commitment to deliver the best value proposition for the targeted customer.
