Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Sr Salesforce Engineer to join a large retail client in Vancouver, BC. In this role, you will analyze Salesforce technical debt and implement effective solutions. You will also participate in monitoring activities, including security reviews, release updates, and code reviews of other developers. Your contributions will extend to Salesforce architecture, data modeling, security, and integration capabilities.
As a member of the Center of Excellence team, you will focus on best practices and address tech debt items, such as data model system migration within the Service Cloud ecosystem. This includes migrating large volumes of data across various systems or internally. You will engage in discovery sessions with internal product managers to understand the impact of your work on product teams and contribute to foundational changes in Salesforce mechanisms. Strong communication skills, a sense of ownership, and the ability to manage database migrations are essential for this role.

Skills and Requirements
Must Haves:
8+ years of experience on the Salesforce Platform delivering medium-large projects/programs using customization and out-of-the-box configurative solutions (ideally in a lead capacity most recently)
Experience working on Service, Sales and Experience Cloud
Strong experience with Salesforce programmatic languages APEX, LWC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Aura
Proven expertise in designing and implementing robust integrations between Salesforce applications and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs or using out-of-the-box adapters (any external system if it is huge volumes of data).
Expertise in leveraging Git, GitHub, and SFDX in VS Code to enable efficient version control, collaborative development, and CI/CD best practices in Salesforce environments
Strong written and verbal communication skills Plusses:
Experience working with Salesforce Service Cloud (preferred)
Consulting experience (ie. Deloitte, Slolom). null
